The marathon diaries

As part of my journey to the 2017 London Marathon, I kept an online marathon diary. Expect blisters, tears and the highs and lows of one of my biggest achievements so far.

Week 1 – dry Frosties and lunchtime running 

Week 2 – six wintery miles 

Week 3 – thinking like a champion

Week 4- being injured 

Weeks 5-7 – catching up on lost time 

Week 8 – my first half marathon

Week 9 – a holiday from running 

Week 10- the first 16 miles 

Weeks 11-13 – 20 miles down and three weeks to go
